Schools:
“I'm excited to share Portsmouth's experience working with Eva Touhey and WasteNaut Consulting. We wanted to enhance our composting programs as a district dedicated to sustainability, and Eva's knowledge has been priceless. Eva's commitment to trash reduction has had a significant influence on our composting program. Her individualized approach, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving techniques have enabled us to educate our students and dramatically cut waste.”
- Elizabeth Viveiros, Deputy Superintendent of Portsmouth Schools

Large-Scale Public Events:
“WasteNaut Consulting is critical to our organization achieving our sustainability goals! Eva and the team are incredibly knowledgeable, well practiced and deeply respected regionally in all matters of sustainability consulting. Working closely with our organization, WasteNaut has empowered our zero waste operations and supported our capacity to grow our landfill diversion rate year over year. Partnering with WasteNaut has been transformative to our work!”

Summer Camps:
“Our camp is dedicated to children and teens living with Type 1 Diabetes. During our annual camp week, we always strive to minimize food waste and find new ways to be more environmentally friendly. WasteNaut Consulting helped us to implement a new composting program and was able to quantify the impact of our efforts. At the end of the week, we composted 2550 pounds of food waste and recycled 865 pounds of materials. It was amazing to see what a difference we could make in one week just by having our staff and campers sort their food waste differently!”
- Ali Fox, Executive Director, Camp Surefire

Education Facilitation:
“Eva Touhey, of WasteNaut Consulting, was a key partner in the design and facilitation of the soil health educational series we offered to Thompson Middle School 5th graders in 2024. Her expertise on composting and youth education was an asset during curriculum development and on field trip days with 50 plus students! We would be excited to work with WasteNaut Consulting again on similar projects or sustainability needs.”
